Wrapping up Your Course Sites, again!

The end of the semester is almost here. Before you leave the semester behind, there are a few things you should do to save your course materials and wrap up your Blackboard course site. In this podcast, we offer recommendations that will help you fulfill CUNY recordkeeping requirements and ensure that you are able to reuse your course materials in future semesters. We suggest that you export your course site, download any student work that you want to keep, and print the gradebook and final exam.

Conducting Evaluations with Blackboard Surveys

Professor Donna Nickitas of the School of Nursing teaches a blended learning course called Gender, Science and Technology. She included in this course an evaluation with questions created by the students. To do this, she used several Blackboard tools such as the discussion board and the survey tool. In this week’s episode of Blackboard Tip of the Week, Shiao-Chuan Kung talks to Prof. Nickitas about how she framed the assignment and what were some benefits and concerns.
