In this two-part interview series, Madeleine Fix interviews Hunter College Visual Resources Librarian Steven Kowalik about using the ARTstor digital library with Blackboard course and community sites. In addition to providing ARTstor support to the Hunter College community, Kowalik’s work in the Visual Resources Library supports the study and teaching of the world’s visual culture by maintaining a collection of 250,000 slides and 30,000+ digital images depicting art and architecture from prehistoric times to the present. Kowalik also supports the Hunter Library Web Kiosk, the Hunter College online digital image library.
